App Setup Session
A one-to-one session where we install the app, connect your accounts, and set currency and pay-day dates. You leave with a working monthly view, entered income, and your fixed bills already sorted into clear categories.
Xoqipe has built budgeting tools since 2012. The app splits monthly income into fixed bills, flexible spending and savings, then shows what remains each week. Setup takes a few minutes, and the catalogue below lists every service we offer.

A one-to-one session where we install the app, connect your accounts, and set currency and pay-day dates. You leave with a working monthly view, entered income, and your fixed bills already sorted into clear categories.
We go through your last three months of statements and build a realistic monthly budget in the app. Rent, transport, food and subscriptions are separated, and the remaining amount is shown as a weekly spending figure you can follow.
Choose a target such as a rental deposit, a course fee or a holiday. We set the sum, the deadline and a monthly transfer in the app, then add progress alerts so you can see whether you are on track each week.
We list every balance with its interest rate and minimum payment, then arrange them in the app by rate or by size, whichever you prefer. The schedule shows each payoff date and the total interest saved by paying extra each month.
For people renting in Leeds who split costs with housemates. We set up shared bills, due dates and each person's share, so rent, energy, broadband and council tax appear as scheduled outgoings with reminders ahead of every payment.
Once a month we read your categorised spending and point out where figures drifted from the plan. You receive a short written summary with three suggested changes, such as lowering a category limit or moving an unused subscription.
A new salary changes tax, pension contributions and take-home pay. We recalculate your net monthly income, update the app categories and decide in advance how much of the increase goes to savings rather than daily spending.
Irregular pay needs a different method. We average your earnings over six months, set a baseline salary you pay yourself, and reserve money in the app for tax bills and quiet months so that outgoings stay predictable.
Two incomes, one household. We create joint and personal categories in the app, agree a fair contribution method, and set up a shared view so both partners see the same totals without exposing every individual purchase.
We set category limits, low-balance warnings and bill reminders in the app, tuned to the days your wages arrive. The aim is a small number of useful notifications, not a constant stream that you end up switching off.
A small-group session of up to eight people covering budgets, emergency funds, workplace pensions and credit scores in plain terms. Each attendee works through their own figures in the app, with the tutor on hand for questions.
Rent rises, bills change and goals shift. Every three months we revisit your categories, limits and targets, retire what no longer applies, and rebuild the plan around your current income and your next savings milestone.
Eight examples from the 1,536 jobs we have completed since 2012. Each one started from a real budgeting problem faced by early-career professionals in and around Leeds, and each is described here as it was delivered.
Budget setup
A guided setup for people receiving their first full-time pay. It splits net income into rent, transport, savings and everyday spending using editable percentage ranges.
Bills
Built for flatmates who split rent and utilities. Each person sees their share, due dates and a simple record of who has paid which bill during the month.
Savings
Lets a user set a target, such as a £2,500 deposit fund, and a date. The app works out the monthly amount needed and shows whether the current pace matches it.
Commuting
Records train, bus and bike costs against the working days that created them. Useful when comparing a season ticket with pay-as-you-go fares across a quarter.
Debt
Shows student loan and overdraft balances next to monthly outgoings. Users can test extra repayments and see how the payoff date moves in months, not guesses.
Everyday spending
Turns the leftover monthly amount into a weekly allowance. The remaining balance updates after each logged purchase, and unused money rolls into the next week.
Variable income
For people with a salary plus occasional freelance payments. Irregular income is averaged over six months, and a share can be set aside for tax bills.
Reports
A short summary generated on the last day of each month. It compares planned and actual spending by category and lists the three largest differences.
Xoqipe has built budgeting tools in Leeds since 2012. Here are the five features that our 896 clients mention most often.
You enter your take-home pay once, and the app splits it into rent, bills, savings and spending. Pay dates are handled too, so a month that starts on the 25th is planned from the 25th rather than from the 1st.
Rent, council tax, phone contracts and subscriptions appear on a single calendar. You see which payments land before your next payday, so a cluster of direct debits no longer catches you off guard.
Set a target such as a rental deposit of £2,400 and a date. The app works out the monthly amount needed and shows whether you are ahead or behind. Goals can be paused without losing progress.
Each week you get a short summary by category: food, transport, going out, subscriptions. Reports compare the current month with the previous one in pounds, not in abstract scores. You can export any report as a spreadsheet file for your own records.
